Join New Trier’s Career Day |
In Fall 2026, New Trier will introduce a new event to help students explore their future paths: Career Day. Local professionals in a wide array of fields will share their expertise on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Winnetka Campus.
The goal of Career Day is to expose New Trier students to a wide range of career pathways that reflect today and tomorrow’s workforce, including both technical and skilled trade and professions requiring college degrees.
We are seeking parents and alumni interested in participating in Career Day to:
- Expand students’ awareness of career possibilities
- Highlight multiple pathways (college, trades, certifications, military, and entrepreneurship) to meaningful careers
- Help students understand the skills and preparation needed for future success
- Provide authentic networking opportunities
The event will include:
- A speaker series
- Tables where career representatives can speak one-on-one with students about their interests, skills, and talents, and pathways to related careers
- A dedicated space for résumé review, LinkedIn support, and quick interview/networking tips
