Hubbard Woods Design District First Friday and Chocolate Walk

On Friday, May 1^st, the Hubbard Woods Design District will host its inaugural First Friday event of 2026! The event will celebrate a sweet start to Spring, with the district hosting its annual chocolate walk. Shops throughout the district will feature a variety of special treats, from candy to popsicles, and more! The event will run from 4-7 PM and include cocktails and live music throughout the district to make the night both fun and festive. 

First Friday takes place every month between May and October in the Hubbard Woods district, the premier spot on Chicago’s North Shore for the best in art, home, design, fashion, and dining. The area includes over a mile of walkable shopping throughout the charming and historic downtown.
