This season, we’re looking for a Design Sales Consultant who is as skilled in sales as they are in design thinking. Someone who can confidently guide families and businesses through a creative process, uncover what matters most to them, and deliver lighting designs that feel personal, intentional, and unforgettable.

This Role

• Independent contractor position with strong earning potential
• Performance-based compensation, with the possibility to earn up to $20,000 in just 13 weeks for experienced salespeople
• Direct mentorship in elite consultative NEPQ sales training
• Flexible schedule with full-time commitment (evenings and weekends during peak season required)
• Work virtually or in Chicagoland with real autonomy and responsibility
• Future long-term opportunities available for standout performers

What You’ll Be Doing

• Engage and inspire families and businesses through design-driven sales conversations
• Close sales with confidence by following a proven consultative framework
• Translate client needs into imaginative lighting designs that elevate their spaces
• Guide clients to visualize transformations with passion and precision
• Maintain a disciplined pipeline with strategic follow-ups that drive results
• Deliver both artistry and sales performance at the highest level

We’re Looking for Someone Who Is…

• A proven closer. Sales experience is absolutely non-negotiable
• Gifted with a strong eye for design and the ability to help clients “see it” before it exists
• Driven, competitive, and hungry to maximize both income and impact
• Confident, articulate, and persuasive in both virtual and in-person settings
• Tech-savvy and comfortable using Google Meet, phone, text, and social media
• Organized and resilient in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Available full-time through December with flexibility for evenings and weekends
• Motivated to learn, grow, and become an integral part of a company with purpose
