Twins, Triplets & More! Ensuring Meaningful School Experiences for Your Multipl
Parents of twins, triplets, and more know that their multiple-birth children have unique needs and they continually seek ways to communicate these needs to teachers. Participants in this presentation will learn about research findings that ensure meaningful school experiences for twins and multiples, offered from both a professional and personal perspective, including:
- Developmental and behavioral needs of twins and other multiple-birth children
- Building relationships with teachers and schools
- Classroom placement
- Best educational practices, as applicable to twins and multiples
- For parents of friends of multiples, handling playdates, birthday parties, carpools, friendships with one twin and not the other, and more
- An opportunity for parents to ask specific questions
