Join us for an illustrated presentation of one of America's most famous retail stores, Marshall Field's. This talk traces the store's history from its beginnings as a dry goods store in 1851 into a world-class fashion and service trend-setter. Photographs, ads, postcards, and memorabilia will bring back for us the store's cherished traditions - the Walnut Room Christmas tree, the State Street store's legendary window displays, and of course, Fango mints.
