COMMUNITY EVENT Minkyoo Shin Organ Concert

The incredibly talented Minkyoo Shin will perform a program “Dance” for organs in different musical periods.   Ms. Shin has a Bachelor’s Degree from the Peabody Conservatory of Music and a Master’s Degree from the Yale School of Music.  Her doctorate from Indiana University is in organ performance and literature with a minor in music theory.  Having received a number of awards, scholarships and competitions, she is truly a gifted organist.  Currently she serves as a music director at Ascension and is on the music faculty at Trinity Christian College in Palos Heights.   Using a large video screen, the audience can watch her play while listening to the performance.  The concert is open to the public and admission is free.
