Antiques and Modernism Winnetka
The Woman’s Board of Winnetka Community House proudly presents Antiques + Modernism Winnetka. This spectacular show is a fusion of the former Winnetka Antiques Show and the Modernism Show. Nationally recognized as two of the Midwest’s most well-respected events, its combined 60 year history and prevailing reputation speaks to the caliber of this highly anticipated show.
The combined event will encompass periods of design ranging from the 17th century to the mid 20th century. Esteemed dealers from across the country will showcase fine examples of American, British, French and Asian antiques, as well as pieces from the Arts and Crafts, Art Nouveau, Art Deco and Mid-Century design movements. The exhibition and sale will offer furniture, silver, ceramics, jewelry, garden antiques, lighting, rugs, textiles, fine and folk art, architectural artifacts and even more. Collectors, designers and hobbyists alike will delight in the extensive inventory of beautiful objects presented at the historic Winnetka Community House.
Proceeds from all events support the programs and services of the Winnetka Community House, a non-tax supported organization that is dependent on a broad base of community support for its existence. The Winnetka Community House was placed on the National Registry of Historic Places in August, 2007. The Woman’s Board’s mission is to provide financial and volunteer support for this important institution. For more info visit winnetkacommunityhouse.org
