DESCRIPTION:Winnetka Village Council meeting\n\n\n\nat the Village Hall (510 Green Bay Rd.\, second floor) to voice your support for two key motions the Council will be asked to approve in connection with stormwater relief for the Village. These motions will authorize the Village to move forward with an agreement that has been reached (after two years of extensive and intensive negotiations) with the Cook County Forest Preserve District ("FPD") to allow Winnetka to utilize a portion of FPD land to detain water from stormwater runoff in extreme rain events. The Winnetka Park District\, Winnetka 36 School District\, and New Trier 203 School District have all expressed their support of and willingness to cooperate in this project.
