DESCRIPTION:Go Green Winnetka's Solar Tour is a free event designed to connect\, educate\, inspire and facilitate solar installations in Winnetka\n\n\n\nDo you live in Winnetka\, are you considering a solar installation\, and/or do you not know where to start? Go Green Winnetka's inaugural Solar Tour is for you! The Tour will feature four homes in Winnetka with solar installations whose owners are familiar with the process\, incentives\, and logistics unique to Winnetka\, which owns and operates its own electric plant and which buys all its electricity from the Illinois Municipal Energy Agency (IMEA).\n\nThe Tour will take place from 10 am   2 pm on Saturday\, September 24 as part of the statewide Illinois Solar Tour\, which is hosted by the Illinois Solar Education Association. Registration is required for the Tour through EventBrite. Addresses and installation information will be sent to registrants the day before the Tour.
