DESCRIPTION:Bike Winnetka is an event that will take bicycle riders of all ages through scenic Winnetka in a group rider format. All riders must wear a helmet or will be unable to participate.\n\n \n\nThanks to the generosity of our Community Partners\, the cost of this event is only $7 per person\n\n \n\nCommunity Partners\n\nComplete Chiropractic & Rehab\, First Bank & Trust\, Green Bay Cycles\, Guaranteed Rate-Ben Cohen\, Higher Gear\, The Hudson Company\, KIND Bars\, North Shore Community Bank\, Scout Troop #20 and Stormy's Bar & Grille.\n\n \n\n2 Mile Option\n\nGeared for young riders (under a 20" wheel) and parents. Suggested for 3rd grade and under. Children must be with an adult. No training wheels will be allowed.\n\n \n\n8 Mile Option\n\nParticipants will be expected to maintain an 8 mph pace during the entire ride\, approximately 1 hour.  (For comparison\, the average person walks about 3 mile per hour.) All participants on this ride must have a 20" wheel or greater.\n\n\n\nRegistration Information\n\nOnline registration for this event is now open. Mail-in\, drop-in registration is handled through the Winnetka Park District\, 540 Hibbard Road\, Winnetka\, IL. 60093. Fax in registration will  also be taken at (847) 501-5779. There is no on-site\, day of\, registration.\n\n\n\nPacket Pick-Up Information (Those who registered by 9/9/17)\n\nAll participants will receive a packet full of goodies\, including t-shirt and final route map.\n\n\n\nAdvanced Packet Pick-Up: September 14-16\n\nLOCATION: Green Bay Cycles\, 999 Green Bay Road\, Winnetka\n\nThursday   Friday (9 am   7 pm)\n\nSaturday  (9 am   12 pm)\n\n \n\nAdditional information will be available in the participant packets and through an e-mail on September 13 (make sure to include an e-mail address on the registration form).

LOCATION:Day Of Event Information Bike Winnetka starts at the north end of Skokie Playfield at the Service Center parking lot. Last-minute instructions will be given promptly at 3:20 pm. After the ride\, join the Winnetka Park District at FALL FEST at Duke Childs Field. We will have raffles\, KIND bars and water for our riders at the Bike Winnetka Booth.
